(Reuters) – Passenger automotive registrations within the European Union rose 28.8% in March to a couple of million items, the European Car Producers Affiliation (ACEA) reported on Wednesday.
Battery-electric vehicles made up 13.9% of latest registrations within the EU, up 2.5% from the identical month final 12 months.
Plug-in hybrids are shedding floor within the area, declining from a market share of 8.8% in March 2022 to 7.2% in March 2023, ACEA stated in a press launch.
In the meantime, petrol and diesel markets carried out higher than final 12 months, up 18.6% and 11.8%, respectively, from final March, ACEA reported.
